Meet Our Baker: David

Born in Lyon and raised in the beautiful coastal city of Nice, France, David’s journey with bread began in the heart of traditional French bakeries. His passion for the craft has since taken him across the globe, from Japan to Montreal, before finally settling here in British Columbia.

This year, Boule Carre Bakery is embarking on an exciting new chapter as we shift our focus more towards a traditional bakery experience. We are thrilled to announce that starting June 21st, we will be hosting our pop-up bakery twice a week at Fat Dragon Eatery in Port Coquitlam every Sunday and Monday!

Since launching this business in 2024, it has been an incredible journey of nearly two years. As a husband-and-wife team, we could not have made it this far without the overwhelming support of our family, friends, and the wonderful local community.

Our ultimate dream is to grow Boule Carre Bakery into something even bigger, so we can one day give back to everyone who has supported us. With that goal in mind, David and his wife Tamae continue to trial and refine new ideas every single day, dedicated to bringing unique, high-quality, and delicious creations to his neighbors in the Tri-Cities.
